Class Description:

The subject of this house will be the dogs. Bring in 4-7 small photos that can be trimmed and prepare to showcase those favorite pet photos in a house of their own! Any pets can be in this house. Don’t have pets, don’t worry, bring pictures of the husband and put him “In the Doghouse”. This class makes a great companion to the mini-workshop “There is no Place Like Home”.

• 4-7 small photos (under 2x2”)
• Favorite colors of red and brown paint (Paint will also be provided)
• Two foam brushes
• Mini glue dots
• Favorite embellishments (I.E. lace, hearts, flowers, crystals, etc.)

Born in New Orleans, LA, living in Florida and married to a Wisconsin native, I love to travel to all states in between. I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelors of Science in Liberal Studies and a minor in Criminology, many years ago.

We have two beautiful spoiled labs that are often the subject of my art. I named my chocolate lab Caleb after a soap-opera vampire and my black lab likes to sleep in the closet and the bathtub.

I love to Scrapbook, Stamp, make jewelry, decorate my home and more. In 1996, my friends took me kicking and screaming (it wasn’t pretty) to a scrapbook home party, the friends never scrapped again and I was hooked. I have met some amazing people through my artistic journey and love to travel to art adventures with my friends. My artwork has been published in Vamp Stamp News (2001 and 2002) and Somerset Studio (2001).

I work as a Web Content Manager for a major hospitality company and enjoy harassing my co-workers, friends and family on a daily basis with my charming sense of humor. I am learning Photoshop (which could be dangerous), but prefer traditional scrapbooking to digital, because frankly I love the feel of cardstock and the smell of patterned paper.
Join me in Zannedu and read my art adventures on my blog.
