 mini-workshop: "The Inspired Me"
Sometimes it is hard for us to create something just about ourselves but is a vital part of the creative process. I have designed a class that will allow you to dig a little deeper into the INSPIRED YOU while making it fun, inspiring and creative.
In one hour, we will create a 12+ page 5 x 7 bound journal JUST FOR YOU. It will overflow with a place for photos , journaling and inspiration spots all about THE INSPIRED YOU….what INSPIRES you, what your PASSIONS are, what your DESIRES, what makes you happy (& little “happy quotes” for the moments when you are not) and a special place to add information to stay connected to all of your “Inspired” friends.
We will get our hands “creatively marked” (dirty!) because I will teach you how to create amazing paper roses as well as “handmade & homegrown” embellishments with felt & canvas.
I look forward to seeing you in class so that we can share with each other, our dreams, thoughts, inspirations and of course, chocolate chip cookies!

I am Stephanie..a self proclaimed “Simply Complicated” girl….I love the simple things and most of the time complicate them…in a good way. I am an ordinary girl living an extraordinary life where I get to do what I love for a living. I am a regular girl who love’s GOD, my family, my friends, my neighbors, my kids school & the teachers who teach there & the volunteers who volunteer there. I am a simple girl. I love Chips & Salsa, ice from a bag and Fuji Apples from Costco. I used to drive a mini van & am not to proud to say I would go back to a mini van any day! (it is easy to haul around bikes, skateboards, boogie boards & skate ramps)
I LOVE paper, batter, fabric, dough (as in cookie dough) & paint..A LOT... probably more than the average person. When someone asks me how long I have been "creating", I explain that I started at birth. My very first project was when the nurses stamped my lil tiny baby foot in ink and stamped it on something official. As I grew up, I made Barbie Clothes, Barbie forts, pot holders, sit-upons..baked cookies, cakes…pretty you name it, I have made it at one time or the other.
at any given moment I might be. . .praying, doodling, running, baking chocolate chip cookies, watching my boys skate, surf, boogie board, play soccer, baseball…helping with homework, doing laundry, ordering a large diet coke with extra ice (only from Mc'D's!) downloading a new font, , scrapbooking, coordinating fabrics with paper, re-tying Ben's shoes, doing more laundry, REALLY loving paper, sitting at the local skatepark, volunteering at the kids school, reorganizing my scrap room, turning trash into treasures, sewing, did I mention laundry???
I love being a mom, a wife, a neighbor, a sister, a daughter…and I love paper (did I mention that???)...solids & prints, florals & stripe...ditto for fabric, I love the movies "The Notebook" & Serendipity. I love to scrap, sew, bake, paint...I am a regular ol' suzy homemaker...and just a year ago, I married the boy that I fell head over heels in love with when I was 15!
I like straight lines & crooked bangs, flowers in the garden and on fabric, just not on my clothes. I love the color red, just not on me, and prefer the color baby blue, camouflage & leopard prints over the color pink, stripes and solids ( but only sometimes) I like fake fingernails but never fake diamonds, I love brides and new babies, but really don’t like to go to showers….I am SIMPLY COMPLICATED and I am…happy.
