mini-workshop: "Cherish Canvas"
Use a variety of techniques to transform a blank 5" x 7" canvas into a mini piece of art! Start with daubing Adirondack acrylic paints to the blank canvas in the color palate to match the beautiful Prima paper. Using a Tattered Angel mask, spray gold Glimmer Mist in the upper left corner of your Prima paper. Attach paper to the canvas using a gel medium. Embellish canvas with Prima flower stem and butterfly. Attach rhinestones in the lower right corner. Finish canvas edges by adhering twill ribbon. Apply glassy accents to the word “cherish”. Your mini masterpiece is finished.

I live in Rhode Island with my two daughters; Hannah and Isabel and my little dog Daisy. I have been scrapbooking on and off for 12 years and discovered rubber stamping 6 years ago—that is when “the monster was created”, as my daughters refer to my passion for all things paper, ink and rubber. I have been published numerous times in Stampington & Company publications; Take Ten, Stamper’s Sampler and Stamper’s Sampler Catch Up issues. I have enjoyed teaching at some local scrapbook stores, as well as hosting full day and weekend events in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. I am currently working with my dear friend (and fellow Inspired 2010 mini-workshop teacher) Kathie Deluca in starting an online scrapbooking kit business called SCRAPENDIPITY (www.scrapendipity.typepad.com). We also host monthly crops and classes to share our passion for creating. It is my dream to travel worldwide teaching, inspiring and creating as I go!
