I am the wife of one, mother of three, step-mother to two, and grandmother to four grandsons, yet always have time to do art! My day job is working at a birth center where I am a Childbirth Educator, Lactation Counselor, Doula and Infant Care instructor.  Since I have breathed, dreamed and worked in the birth field for over twenty years, something weird may show up in my art class!

I have dabbled in all areas of art yet cannot conquer, painting!  My dad, bless his heart, tried so desperately to teach me how to paint and simply gave up.  So, I have amassed a ‘quit-counting-at-999’ rubber stamp collection and could possibly open my own scrapbooking store with my stash of goodies. Using these, I enjoy creating cards, all areas of scrapbooking, anything on canvas (except actual painting), mixed media but most of all, altered books and collage…..these are my soul.

Much to my chagrin of my family, I have been known to get in a garbage pile in Canada for wool samples and pick treasures off parking lots to use in my mixed media art pieces.  I am constantly on the lookout for new ideas – which is where these two classes come from (well not a trash pile per se) and being obsessed with collage, the color pink, chocolate and texting I will usually be seen with all four!

I love art, laughing, making messes with paint and glitter, and most of all, Inspired!  You can converse with me through facebook, email ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
