mini-workshop : "Beautiful Bangle"

Niki will be teaching fun and easy techniques to turn blank wooden DIY Bangles into wearable art.  Students will be using a variety of materials including ink and stamps. You will leave the classroom with bangle that is perfect for you or to give to that fashionable someone.

mini-workshops : "Tantalizing Textured Cards and Container"

In this fun and face paced class you will learn how to create and apply simple textures.   Be some of the first to use the New Tim Holtz Alterations  dies from Sizzix. The feature products we will be using are Clearsnap ink, REAL WOOD paper from Creative Imaginations, and Sizzix Texture Boutique and embossing folders.  You will also leave class with a small goodie bag of embellishments for later use.

Freelance Designer and Artist Niki Meiners of North Carolina realized after a paralyzing illness she wanted to reconsider her career as a National Sales Manager of a Fortune 500 company.  Her thoughts immediately turned to her first passion, art.  In 2003 she began an odyssey that would take her from product design to publication and everywhere in between.  She is known for her bold choice of color combination, diverse mix of styles and highly creative approach to even the smallest detail.   Her work can be found in the industries leading publications and manufacturers’ websites.  Her favored areas of concentration are Altered Art, Needle Felting, Needle Punch, Beading, 3 Dimensional Paper Crafting and Home Decor.
