mini-workshop : "Pressed to a Tee"

Can't get enough of those awesome Donna Downey iron-ons?  Me either!!!

This class we’ll be turning your favorite t-shirt into a piece of wearable art using
those wonderful  Iron-ons! Create a garden, a bouquet or make a graphic statement!  
Either way you will be “Pressed to a Tee!”

Student Supplies:

White or turquoise t-shirt, pre-washed, pre-shrunk
Scissors
Tweezers (optional)

Staci and husband Jeff, own Grove's Office Supply in Huntingdon, PA.  Staci teaches by day and works the store by night/weekend teaching classes, hosting store crops and taking the store on the road to teach and vend at other events.  She has hosted her own scrapbooking events for the last 10 years. She is Mom to Jason and Jerica, who humor her by getting enthused with her latest creations!!!  They along with rescued pet cat "Nori" are her favorite photo subjects!  She has been creating, teaching and doing "home ec" type things for 30 years!!!  She remembers hand sewing doll clothes using fabric from her Mom's quilting stash and her Mom and "Nan" teaching her to knit during elementary school.  Two crafting skills she has passed on to her daughter and continues to practice today!  She enjoys teaching recycling to her students with projects on fusing plastic, making plarn and felting and loves to include them in scrapbooking, collage and papercrafting projects.  Another current incurable addiction is creating fun stuff with Donna Downey Iron Ons!!!!  

Staci's motto  "There are no mistakes in scrapbooking"  is displayed prominently on the Grove's store wall,  and allows everyone the freedom create in their own style and at their own pace.  She loves that crafting and creating today means it's okay to mix scrapbooking, stamping, vintage book text, iron-ons, fabrics, buttons, canvas and metals with file folders, shipping tags and anything else you have in your stash drawer!!!  It's like a dream come true!!!!
