CD Muckosky grew up as an only child with a wonderfully creative single mom who always allowed her to follow her passions. With no TV or siblings to busy her mind, and without the means to buy the fanciest art supplies; CD spent her childhood days writing stories, and using her imagination to create art with just about anything she could get her hands on! She dreamed of becoming an artist, and over the years learned as much as she could about all different kinds of art. She saved little boxes of memorabilia and combined them with photos that she captured starting with her first cereal box camera. Then when CD discovered scrapbooking at a craft night about 4 1/2 years ago it felt like all of her creative passions came together in the art that she was meant to create! Soon after that she jumped into the scrapboking industry in the fall of 2006 when she won her title as Creating Keepsakes first ever Scrapbooker of the year! She went on to write a monthly column for the magazine called "CD's playground"; teaching her readers all kinds of fun tricks for creating with what they have on hand. From her heartfelt journaling and bright use of colors to her meaningful little details, her designs have always been filled with whimsy and heart.  CD now travels all over the world teaching her "Art from the Heart". She is passionate about inspiring others to reach a little farther and try something new with their own creativity.

CD lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba where she spends her days as A stay at home mom to three happy little girls, and wife to her high school sweetheart; Cam. They love the joys found in the simple times together with family and friends.
